How does Quiks work?

Once someone pays me, how long does it take before I see the money in my account?
A bank or credit union transaction usually takes 3–4 business days to complete via the Automated Clearing House network (ACH) used by banks to transfer funds. Please note that transfers take longer to complete if over a weekend or a holiday.
Do both entities need to use
Quiks to send and receive payments?
Yes. One of the benefits to using quiks is its security. Making sure both parties have been verified by their banks is an important step. Typical setup time for new users is 5 minutes, and just requires name, mobile number, and email address for payment/donation notifications.
What do I need to start using Quiks for my business?
From your personal computer or your smartphone, select Get Started/Login from the navigation bar. You will be asked to enter your mobile phone number. From there we will send you a 4-digit code which you will be prompted to enter on screen. This will bring you a short form. Type in your name, the name of your business, and a short description and that’s it. Creating an account is that easy. Once you create an account, you will link it to a bank account. For that step you will be asked to enter your online username and password for that bank, you will only need to do this once. Once your bank verifies you, you are ready to send and receive payments using Quiks. One tip: make sure your name matches the name on file with your bank, otherwise your bank may not recognize you.
How do I send a request for payment, and what if they don’t have Quiks?
Just select send payment request, and enter the customer’s mobile number. If you chose to import your contacts, you can do this from your contact list (please note that we never share or sell your contact list, this is your private data). The person will receive a text with your message and payment request. If they don’t have Quiks, it will include a link to download the App. It’s that easy.
Why is my transaction still pending?

Why did the transaction fail?
Occasionally transactions to or from a bank or credit union may fail. Here are a few reasons why:Insufficient funds. There are insufficient funds in the sending bank account complete the transaction.Frozen account. A bank or credit union account has been frozen.Other reasons. A bank or credit union rejects the transaction for some other reason.If a transaction fails, please contact your financial institution to check on the status of your account. Once issue is resolved re-initiate the transaction.
Why am I being asked for more documentation?
We may ask for a bank statement for verification of a business account. This is for your security to verify that you are an authorized signer on your connected bank or credit union account.
How do I delete a recurring payment?
Under the Payments in your Quiks application go to Recurring Payments. Find the recurring payment you would like to delete, hold and swipe left. Delete. This payment will no longer appear under your recurring payments and the payment will not be made automatically.
